About us
Company Profile
Our company was established in 1966 by Mr Jean Misrachis situated in the center of Athens acting as commission agents. Our main activity was representing companies from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Spain specialized in electrical household products. Additionally, we were representing various Spanish and South African companies supplying wooden poles for our Public Power Corporation (P.P.C.).
In 1978 we entered into public tenders for OSE (Hellenic Railways Organisation) acting as exclusive agents of CAF – Spain (rolling stock - wheels and axles), JEZ Sistemas Ferroviarios, (track turnouts together with their spare parts), Maquivias (track machinery – drilling machines, etc).
In 1986 the company transferred to its own private offices at 48 Favierou Str. – Athens, on the 4th floor, where it is currently situated.
Since 1991 we have signed more than 400 contracts on spare parts, working as exclusive agents and wholesalers, among others, for Transtechnik and Co. Gmbh, VEW-Vereinigte Elektronikwerkstatten Gmbh, Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA etc.
Mr Leon Misrachis entered the company in 1998 after completing the degree of BSc Mechanical Engineer, at Sussex University in Brighton.
In 2001 the company was renamed to
LEON MISRACHIS IMPORTS – EXPORTS – REPRESENTATIONS, acting also as wholesalers on various rolling stock spare parts and infrastructure material.
This same year we have started supplying together with our partner SOILTEC GMBH, spare parts to Athens Attiko Metro and ISAP SA (Athens – Piraeus Suburban Railways).
In 2001 and 2008 we participated as agents of CAF SA (Spain), in the Athens Attiko Metro tender for series II and III new Metro Trains.
Due to the increased turnover, a new company created in 2020 under the name "Leon Misrachis Single Member P.C. "
Our long experience and knowledge of the market has made us a fast grown company, one of the main suppliers of spare parts in the country.
We continue providing support to our clients in public and private sector with flexibility and contacts all over Greece.
